Easterlies to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over Davao, Caraga
The Davao and Caraga regions will have cloudy skies, scattered rain showers and thunderstorms on Sunday due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms, PAGASA said in its early morning forecast.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country, meanwhile will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
PAGASA is also monitoring a low pressure area (LPA) which, at 3 a.m., was located at 15.3 N, 120.1 E in the vicinity of Botolan, Zambales.
Coastal waters will be slight to moderate in Northern and Central Luzon, and slight elsewhere in the country.
Sunrise will be at 5:45 a.m. while sunset will be at 5:59 p.m. —KG, GMA News
