Cloudy skies, scattered rains in many parts of the country due to LPA
The Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated early Tuesday morning at 225 kilometers west northwest of Catarman, Northern Samar or at 40 km west of Pili, Camarines Sur, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.
Metro Manila, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Visayas, Mindanao and Aurora will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the LPA and flash floods or landslides may occur during light to moderate with at times heavy rains.
The rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms with the of flash floods or landslides occurring during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast in northern and eastern part of Luzon is moderate to strong and moving in the southwest to southeast direction while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
In the Visayas and Mindanao, wind speed will be moderate to strong moving southwestward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
For the rest of Luzon, wind speed forecast is light to moderate moving in the northeast to northwest direction while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.
