LPA to bring rain, thunderstorms over Bicol, Quezon, Aurora


The trough of a low pressure area is expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over the Bicol Region and the provinces of Quezon  and Aurora, according to PAGASA on Saturday.

In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency warned of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The Southwest Monsoon may also bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Palawan.

Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers may prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to the monsoon and localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA said flash floods and landslides are also possible.

The synoptic station at the Science Garden, Quezon City recorded a minimum temperature of 25.2°C at 2 a.m. and a maximum temperature of 31.4°C at 1:50 p.m. -Joahna Lei Casilao/MDM, GMA News
