LPA to bring scattered rains over Visayas, parts of Luzon
A low pressure area (LPA) located east of Catanduanes will bring scattered rain showers over Visayas and parts of Luzon on Sunday, PAGASA said in its early morning forecast.
Visayas, MIMAROPA, the Bicol Region and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the LPA. Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country meanwhile will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may also possibly happen during severe thunderstorms.
At 3 a.m., the LPA was located at 345 km east of Virac, Catanduanes.
Coastal waters will be moderate in Northern Luzon, and slight to moderate in the rest of the country.
