Habagat to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over the western section of southern Luzon


The Southwest Monsoon will affecting the western section of Southern Luzon on Saturday, PAGASA reported.

MIMAROPA and Zamboanga Peninsula will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the Southwest Monsoon with possible flash floods or landslides due to scattered light to moderate rains.

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region and Aurora will have cloudy skies with light rains Northeasterly Surface Windflow with no significant impact.

Ilocos Region and rest of Central Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeasterly Surface Windflow  with no significant impact.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms and Southwest Monsoon with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Wind speed in Northern and Central Luzon will be Moderate to Strong moving Northeastward while coastal waters will be Moderate to Rough.

Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao wind speed will be Light to Moderate moving in the Southwest to Northwest while coastal waters will be Slight to Moderate.

Wind speed in the rest of Luzon will be Light to Moderate moving in the Northeast to Northwest direction with Slight to Moderate coastal waters.
