Northeasterly surface windflow to bring light rain to 3 areas in northern Luzon
The Northeasterly Surface Windflow is expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera Administrative Region, and the Ilocos Region, PAGASA said Tuesday.
In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency added that localized thunderstorms may also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
At 3 p.m. on Tuesday, the center of tropical storm Rolly was estimated at 450 kilometers west of Iba, Zambales with maximum sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph.
It is moving westward at 15 kph.
Meanwhile, tropical storm Siony was estimated at 595 km east of Calayan, Cagayan with maximum sustained winds of 75 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph.
PAGASA said it is almost stationary.
