PAGASA posts Orange Rainfall Warning
The state weather bureau has raised rainfall warning in areas affected by the onslaught of Typhoon Ulysses, which has made two landfalls this evening.
Orange Warning Level was raised over the following areas:
- Apayao(Calanasan, Conner, Kabugao and Luna)
- Cagayan(Abulug, Claveria, Pamplona, SantaPraxedes and SanchezMira)
- Isabela(Divilacan, IlaganCity and Maconacon).
Community Preparedness:
FLOODING and LANDSLIDES is still THREATENING in flood and landslides-prone areas.
Yellow Warning Level was raised over the following areas:
- Apayao(Flora, Pudtol and SantaMarcela)
- Cagayan(Allacapan, Alcala, Amulung, Aparri, Baggao, Ballesteros, Buguey, Camalanuigan, Enrile, Gattaran, Gonzaga, Iguig, Lasam, Lallo, Peñablanca, Piat, Rizal, SantaAna, SantaTeresita, SantoNiño, Solana, Tuao and TuguegaraoCity)
- IlocosNorte(Adams and Pagudpud)
- Isabela(Cabagan, DelfinAlbano, Gamu, Mallig, Quezon, Quirino, Roxas, SanPablo, SantaMaria, SantoTomas and Tumauini)
- Kalinga.
Community Awareness:
POSSIBLE flooding and landslides in flood and landslides-prone areas.
Light to moderate rains is experienced in Abra including Lacub, Malibcong, Pidigan, SanQuintin and Tineg which may persist for 2-3 hours.
The public and the disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned are advised to take appropriate actions, MONITOR the weather condition and watch for the next advisory to be issued at 5 a.m. on Thursday. --- BAP, GMA News
