Red rainfall warning raised over Metro Manila

The state weather bureau has raised a Red Rainfaill Warning over several areas affected by Typhoon Ulysses early Thursday morning.

The warning was raised for the following areas, in which serious flooding may occur in flood-prone areas:

• MetroManila
• Quezon
• Bulacan
• Rizal
• Laguna

Orange warning is raised over Pampanga and NuevaEcija as residents area warned that there is a threat of flooding in these areas.

Yellow Warning, meanwhile, is raised over Cavite, Batangas, Tarlac, Zambales, and Bataan as flooding is possible over flood-prone areas.

The public and the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices concerned are advised to MONITOR the weather condition and watch for the next advisory to be issued at 5 a.m. on Thursday. -- BAP, GMA News
