Isolated light rains to prevail over Batanes, Babuyan Isalnds — PAGASA

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains are expected to prevail over Batanes and the Babuyan Islands due to the northeast monsoon, according to PAGASA on Thursday.

In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency said there are no significant effects on the country. It also said the monsoon is affecting extreme Northern Luzon.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA said severe thunderstorms may cause flooding or landslides.

Its synoptic station at the Science Garden, Quezon City also recorded a minimum temperature of 23.8°C at 6 a.m. and a maximum temperature of 32.2°C at 2 p.m. — Joahna Lei Casilao/RSJ, GMA News
