Amihan, localized thunderstorms to bring cloudy skies, rain over PHL

The Northeast Monsoon or Amihan and localized thunderstorms are seen to bring cloudy skies and light rains over the country within the next 24 hours, PAGASA said Sunday afternoon.

In its 4 p.m. bulletin, the state weather bureau said Amihan will cast partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley.

No significant impact is expected from the weather conditions.

Meanwhile, localized thunderstorms will cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

PAGASA advised residents in affected areas to prepare for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms. —LBG, GMA News
