Cloudy skies, scattered rains over parts of Luzon due to Tail-end of the Frontal System


The Tail-end of a Frontal System (Shear Line) will be affecting the eastern sections of central and southern Luzon while the northeast monsoon will affect northern Luzon and the rest of central Luzon, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Qurino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Rizal, Quezon, Batangas, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Camarines provinces will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the Tail-end of a Frontal System with the possibility of the occurrence of flash floods or landslides during moderate to heavy rains.

The rest of central Luzon will have cloudy skies with rains due to the northeast monsoon with possible flash floods or landslides occurring during moderate to heavy rains.

Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region and rest of Cagayan Valley will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains also due to the northeast monsoon but with no significant impact.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms with flashfloods or landslides possibly occurring during severe thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon, Central Luzon, the western section of Southern Luzon will have moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters are moderate to rough.

The rest of Luzon and eastern Visayas will have moderate to strong wind speed moving in the southeast to northeast direction while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Wind speed forecast for the rest of the Visayas and Mindanao is light to moderate moving in the southwest to southeast direction as coastal waters remain slight to moderate.
