Red rainfall warning up over Southern Leyte, Leyte, Biliran Islands due to Vicky

PAGASA raised the red rainfall warning over Southern Leyte, Leyte and Biliran Islands at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

These areas were warned of serious flooding in low-lying areas and landslides in mountainous areas due to heavy rains from Tropical Depression Vicky.

Under red rainfall warning, rainfall measuring more than 30 mm may be expected within one hour, or rainfall more than 65 mm has continued in the past three hours.

PAGASA warned of moderate to heavy and at times intense rains over Visayas on Saturday. —KG, GMA News
