Red rainfall warning up over Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay

PAGASA raised the red rainfall warning over Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur and Albay on Saturday afternoon due to heavy rains from the tail-end of a frontal system.

The rainfall warning was hoisted at 2 p.m.

Residents were warned of severe flooding in areas prone to flooding and near river channels.

Landslides may also occur in landslide-prone area, PAGASA said.

The orange rainfall warning meanwhile was raised over Sorsogon, Northern Samar and Catanduanes at 2 p.m.

This means flooding and landslides are threatening in areas prone to these, and near river channels.

PAGASA also raised the orange rainfall warning over Aurora and Quirino at 2 p.m., since flooding and landslides are threatening due to rains from the Northeast Monsoon.

The yellow rainfall warning on the other hand was raised over Southern Isabela and Nueva Vizcaya.

Flooding and landslides are possible in areas under yellow rainfall warning.

A separate yellow rainfall warning was also raised at 2 p.m. over Northern Isabela, parts of Cagayan (Enrile, Peñablanca, Piat, Solana, Tuao and Tuguegarao City), and Kalinga.

Meanwhile, an orange rainfall warning was also hoisted at 2 p.m. over Palawan including Kalayaan Islands due to rains from Tropical Depression Vicky.

In low-lying areas in these places, flooding is threatening, and landslides may threaten mountainous areas.

The yellow rainfall warning meanwhile was raised over Leyte and Biliran Island.

Flooding is possible in these areas, PAGASA said, particularly in low-lying places and mountainous parts.
