Visayas, Mindanao, Bicol, Quezon, Palawan to have scattered rains due to LPA trough
The trough of a low pressure area will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms on Saturday over Visayas, Mindanao, Bicol Region, Quezon and Palawan, PAGASA said.
These areas may have flash floods or landslides during times of moderate to heavy rains.
The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) meanwhile affecting Northern Luzon will bring cloudy skies with light rains over the Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region and Aurora.
It will also cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the Ilocos Region and the rest of Central Luzon.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country on the other hand will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in Northern Luzon, with waves reaching as high as 4 meters.
Elsewhere in the country, coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
