Easterlies, tail-end of frontal system to bring rains over MIMAROPA, 6 other areas
The easterlies and the tail-end of a frontal system will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms on Sunday over MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Visayas, Caraga, Davao Region, Northern Mindanao, and Quezon, PAGASA said in its early morning forecast.
Flash floods or landslides may occur during times of moderate to heavy rains.
The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) meanwhile will cause cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon.
The rest of Mindanao on the other hand will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
Coastal waters will be rough in Luzon with waves reaching up to 4 meters.
In Visayas and eastern section of Mindanao, coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
Coastal waters will be slight to moderate meanwhile in the rest of Mindanao.
