Cloudy skies, scattered rains over Caraga, Davao Region, SOCCSKSARGEN, BARMM due to the ITCZ


The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will be affecting Mindanao while the northeast monsoon will be affecting Luzon on Wednesday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Caraga, Davao Region, SOCCSKSARGEN and BARMM will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.

Albay, Sorsogon, Catanduanes and Samar provinces will have cloudy skies with rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the Tail-End of Frontal System with possible flash floods or landslides due to light to moderate with at times heavy rains.

Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region will have cloudy skies with light rains Northeast Monsoon with no significant impact.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon with no significant impact.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Wind speed in Luzon will be moderate to strong moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

The eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao will have moderate to strong moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.
