Cloudy skies, scattered rains over parts of northern Luzon due to LPA, tail-end of the frontal system


At 3 a.m. on Wednesday, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 20 kilometers Northeast of Romblon, Romblon  as the Tail-end of Frontal System (Shear line) will be affecting the eastern section of Central Luzon and the effects of the Northeast Monsoon will be felt in Northern Luzon, PAGASA reported.

Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, Quezon, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, and Catanduanes will have cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rains and thunderstorms due to the LPA and Tail-end of Frontal System with the possibility that flash floods or landslides occurring due to moderate to heavy with at times intense rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to LPA and Tail-end of Frontal System with possible flash floods or landslides occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Central and Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao and Caraga will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the LPA and flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to Localized Thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides occurring due to severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed in Luzon will be moderate to strong moving in the southeast to northeast direction while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

In the Visayas and Mindanao, wind speed will be light to moderate moving southeastward while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
