Frontal System to bring rain, thunderstorms over Northern Luzon

The tail-end of a Frontal System (Shear line) is affecting the eastern section of Northern Luzon, PAGASA announced Saturday afternoon.

In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency said it may bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over the Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera Administrative Region, and the Ilocos Region.

Residents living in the affected areas were warned against possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate with, at times, heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country may, meanwhile, experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA said flash floods or landslides are also possible.
