Cloudy skies, scattered rains over most of Luzon due to the northeast monsoon


The northeast monsoon will be affecting Luzon on Wednesday, PAGASA reported in its early morning weather forecast.

The Samar Provinces will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the easterlies and flash floods or landslides may occur during to moderate with at times heavy rains.

Bicol Region, Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with rains due to the northeast monsoon and flash floods or landslides may occur during to moderate with at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms with the possibility of flash floods or landslides occurring during severe thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon and the eastern section of Central Luzon will have moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward with moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
