Rainshowers, isolated thunderstorms to prevail over Bicol, Visayas

Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and isolated thunderstorms are expected to prevail over the Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas due to the tail-end of a frontal system (shear line), according to PAGASA on Wednesday.

In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency said flash floods or landslides are possible during moderate, with at times, heavy rains.

The northeast monsoon is also expected to bring cloudy skies with rains over Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, and CALABARZON.

Affected residents were warned against possible flash floods or landslides.

The monsoon may also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the rest of Luzon. It has no significant impact on the affected area.

Meanwhile, the rest of the country may also experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA said flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
