Easterlies to bring scattered rains over Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, Davao
The northeast monsoon will be affecting Luzon on Thursday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.
Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Caraga and Davao Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and isolated thunderstorms due to the easterlies as flash floods or landslides may occur during moderate with at times heavy rains.
Bicol Region and MIMAROPA will have cloudy skies with rains due to the northeast monsoon with possible flash floods or landslides during moderate with at times heavy rains.
Batanes and Babuyan Islands will have cloudy skies with light rains brought about by the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.
The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms with the possibility that flash floods or landslides would occur during severe thunderstorms.
Luzon and Eastern Visayas will have moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
