Cloudy skies, rains over Cagayan Valley, CAR, Bicol, Aurora, Quezon due to northeast monsoon


The northeast monsoon will affecting Luzon on Friday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol Region, Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with rains brought about by the northeast monsoon as flash floods or landslides will be possible during moderate with at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon Partly will have cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Luzon, Visayas, and the eastern section of Mindanao will have moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

The rest of Mindanao will experience light to moderate wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.
