Northeast monsoon to bring rains over 5 areas
The northeast monsoon is expected to bring cloudy skies with rains over the Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera Administrative Region, the Bicol Region, and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon, according to PAGASA on Friday.
In its 24-hour forecast, the state weather agency warned against possible flash floods or landslides during moderate with, at times, heavy rains.
Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers may also prevail over the Visayas due to the northeast monsoon, which PAGASA said may possibly cause flash floods or landslides.
It may also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
The weather agency said the northeast monsoon has no significant impact on the affected areas.
Meanwhile, Mindanao may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA said flash floods or landslides are possible during severe thunderstorms.
