Amihan to bring cloudy skies, light rains over parts of Luzon


The northeast monsoon or amihan will be affecting provinces in northern and central Luzon on Friday, PAGASA reported.

Metro Manila, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Ilocos Region, Central Luzon and CALABARZON will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorm with the possibility that flash floods or landslides occurring during severe thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon wind speed will be moderate to strong moving in the north to northeast direction while coastal waters will be moderate to strong.

The rest of Luzon will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the north to northeast direction as coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

The rest of country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to southeast direction while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.
