Tail end of frontal system to bring scattered rains over Visayas, Mindanao


The tail-end of a Frontal System (Shear Line) will be affecting the eastern section of Visayas and Mindanao on Tuesday while the northeast monsoon or amihan will be affecting Luzon, PAGASA reported.

Visayas and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the tail-end of a Frontal System with possible flash floods or landslides occurring due to moderate with at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, Bicol Region and Occidental Mindoro will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.

The rest of Luzon will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the amihan with no significant impact.

The northern section of Luzon and eastern section of Luzon and Visayas will have moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward with moderate coastal waters.

The rest of Luzon and Visayas will experience light to moderate moving northeastward while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.

Wind speed in Mindanao will be light to moderate moving in the northeast to northwest direction with slight to moderate costal waters.
