Rains, thunderstorms to prevail over Cagayan, Aurora

The tail end of a frontal system is expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Cagayan Valley and Aurora, PAGASA announced Tuesday.

In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency warned affected residents of possible flash floods or landslides during moderate with, at times, heavy rains.

Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains may prevail over the Cordillera Administrative Region and the Ilocos Region due to the northeast monsoon.

PAGASA said it has no significant impact on the country.

Warm winds from the Pacific Ocean called the easterlies and localized thunderstorms may also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Flash floods and landslides are also possible during severe thunderstorms, the weather agency said.
