Isolated rainshowers to prevail over Metro Manila, rest of country

Warm winds from the Pacific Ocean called the easterlies and localized thunderstorms are expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country, PAGASA announced Thursday.

In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency warned affected residents against possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

PAGASA said the Easterlies are affecting the eastern section of the country.
