Easterlies to prevail over Metro Manila, other areas


Easterlies or warm winds from the Pacific Ocean are affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, PAGASA announced Saturday afternoon.

According to its 24-hour forecast, the Easterlies are expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

PAGASA said flash floods or landslides are possible during severe thunderstorms over the affected areas.

Meanwhile, the synoptic station at the Science Garden, Diliman, Quezon City recorded a minimum temperature of 25.1°C at 6:10 a.m. and a maximum temperature of 31.8°C at 1:50 p.m. -Joahna Lei Casilao/MDM, GMA News
