Cloudy skies, scattered rains over parts of Luzon due to the Tail-end of Frontal System

At 3 a.m. on Tuesday, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 120 kilometers west of Coron, Palawan with the Tail-end of Frontal System (Shear Line) affecting the eastern sections of Northern and Central Luzon as the northeasterly surface windflow will affect the extreme northern Luzon, PAGASA reported.

Mainland Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, Nueva Eciija, Bulacan, and the northern portion of Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the Tail-end of Frontal System with possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains.

Batanes and Babuyan Islands will have cloudy skies with light rains due to northeasterly surface windflow with no significant impact.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Wind speed forecast for extreme northern Luzon will be moderate to strong moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to southeast while coastal waters will be light to moderate.

The sun will rise by 6:03 a.m. and set by 6:07 p.m. -- BAP, GMA News
