Scattered rains, cloudy skies over 5 areas due to frontal system
The tail-end of a frontal system and the easterlies are expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over the Caraga and Davao Regions, the Bicol Region, and the Eastern and Central Visayas, PAGASA said Wednesday.
In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency warned against possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to, at times, heavy rains.
Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon is expected to bring cloudy skies with light rains over the Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, and Quezon.
It is also expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the Ilocos Region and the rest of Central Luzon.
PAGASA said the monsoon has no significant impact on the affected areas.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms may also prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to the Easterlies.
Flash floods and landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms, according to the weather agency.
Meanwhile, the synoptic station at the Science Garden, Diliman, Quezon City recorded a minimum temperature of 24.7°C at 5 a.m. and a maximum temperature of 31.6°C at 3 p.m.
