Easterlies to bring isolated rainshowers over Metro Manila, rest of country
By JOAHNA LEI CASILAO, GMA News
Easterlies or warm winds from the Pacific Ocean are affecting the whole Philippines, PAGASA announced Friday afternoon.
In its 24-hour forecast, the state weather agency said the easterlies and localized thunderstorms are expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
Due to this, PAGASA warned against possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
It previously advised the public to expect warmer days ahead as the northeast monsoon or the Amihan season may end this weekend.—AOL, GMA News
