Metro Manila, 4 areas to have cloudy skies, isolated rains

A low pressure area (LPA) and the easterlies are expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over the Zamboanga Peninsula, SOCCSKSARGEN, BARMM, and Palawan, according to PAGASA on Friday.

In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency said the LPA was estimated based on all available data at 30 kilometers west-northwest of Zamboanga City.

PAGASA warned affected residents against possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to, at times, heavy rains.

Meanwhile, the easterlies are expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Flash floods and landslides may also occur during severe thunderstorms, PAGASA said.
