LPA to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, Zamboanga City
The Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 195 kilometers west northwest of Zamboanga City early Saturday morning as the easterlies will be affecting the Visayas and the rest of Mindanao, PAGASA reported.
Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, and Zamboanga City will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the LPA with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to the easterlies / localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for Luzon is light to moderate moving in the northeast to east direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
Visayas and Mindanao wind speed will be light to moderate moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.
