Northeasterly winds affecting Luzon, Visayas areas —PAGASA
The northeasterly wind flow will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila, and the rest of Luzon and Visayas, PAGASA said Sunday afternoon.
In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency said Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA advised affected residents to prepare for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, PAGASA said it spotted a low pressure area at 1,160 kilometers east northeast of Basco, Batanes at 3 p.m.
Further, PAGASA said moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal water conditions will prevail over extreme Northern Luzon, while light to moderate winds and slight to moderate waters will prevail over Visayas, the rest of Luzon, and Mindanao.
