Cloudy skies, isolated rainshowers across Philippines due to easterlies

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms, according to PAGASA on Wednesday.

In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency warned affected residents against possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Easterlies are warm winds from the Pacific Ocean.

Meanwhile, the PAGASA synoptic station at the Science Garden, Diliman, Quezon City recorded a minimum temperature of 22.8°C at 5 a.m. and a maximum temperature of 32.1°C at 2:50 p.m. — Joahna Lei Casilao/BM, GMA News
