ITCZ to bring rainshowers, thunderstorms over Mindanao
The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Mindanao, PAGASA said Tuesday.
In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency warned against possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to, at times, heavy rains.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to warm winds from the Pacific Ocean called the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA said flash floods and landslides are also possible during severe thunderstorms.
At 3 p.m. on Tuesday, a low pressure area (LPA) was also estimated at 885 kilometers east of Mindanao.
