Dante makes landfall in vicinity of Cataingan, Masbate; 11 areas under Signal No. 2

Tropical Storm Dante makes another landfall in the vicinity of Cataingan, Masbate early Wednesday morning, PAGASA posted in the latest Severe Weather Bulletin.

As of 1 a.m., the center of Tropical Storm Dante was estimated  in the vicinity of Cataingan, Masbate with maximum sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour near the center, gustiness up to 90 kph and central pressure of 998 hPa moving in the west northwestward direction at 20 kph.

Gale-force winds extend outward up to 80 km from the center.

Moderate to heavy rains over the rest of Western Visayas, the rest of Central Visayas, Samar, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Calamian and Cuyo Islands, Quezon including Polillo Islands, and Camarines North.
