Cloudy skies, scattered rains over parts of Southern Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao due to the ITCZ


The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over several areas in Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao on Thursday, PAGASA reported.

Metro Manila, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Visayas and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the ITCZ with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Palawan and Visayas will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the northeast to northwest direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

The wind speed forecast for the rest of Luzon is light to moderate moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

Mindanao will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the northwest to southwest direction while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.
