ITCZ affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao —PAGASA

Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms will prevail over several parts of the country due to the intertropical convergence zone, PAGASA said Monday.

In its 24-hour forecast, PAGASA said MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, and Zamboanga Peninsula will experience the said weather condition.

PAGASA advised affected residents to prepare for possible flash floods or landslides due to severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the ITCZ and localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Flash floods or landslides are also possible due to severe thunderstorms, PAGASA said.

Further, light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water conditions will prevail over the country.—Ma. Angelica Garcia/LDF, GMA News
