PAGASA: Cloudy skies with isolated rains over the country as amihan weakens

State weather bureau PAGASA on Monday said the northeasterly surface windflow will bring cloudy skies with light rains over Batanes and the Babuyan Islands.

In its daily weather bulletin, PAGASA said Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the weak amihan or localized thunderstorms.

It advised affected residents to prepare for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Further, moderate to strong wind and moderate to rough coastal water conditions will prevail over Northern Luzon.

Meanwhile, light to moderate winds and slight to moderate waters will be experienced over the rest of the country.—Ma. Angelica Garcia/LDF, GMA News
