Tail-end of frontal system, Amihan to bring rains over most parts of country
Rainshowers and thunderstorms are expected to occur in most parts of the country due to the tail-end of a frontal system and northeast monsoon (Amihan), weather bureau PAGASA said on Saturday afternoon.
In its 24-hour forecast, Caraga and Central and Eastern Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
PAGASA said MIMAROPA, Bicol region, rest of Mindanao, and Western Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the rest of Luzon and Metro Manila will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon.
The northern section of Luzon will have moderate to strong wind speed with moderate to rough coastal waters.
Wind speed forecast for the rest of Luzon is light to moderate with slight to moderate coastal waters.
Visayas and Mindanao will have light to moderate wind speed with slight to moderate coastal waters.
