Caraga, Central and Eastern Visayas to have scattered rains due to shear line
Caraga, Central Visayas and Eastern Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms on Sunday due to the shear line or tail-end of a frontal system, PAGASA said in its weather forecast.
Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
Western Visayas and the rest of Mindanao meanwhile will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the shear line and localized thunderstorms. Residents were advised to take precautions against possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan).
Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in the seaboards of Northern Luzon, and slight to moderate in the rest of the country.
