Cloudy skies, scattered rains over parts of south Luzon due to shear line, easterly
The shear line (Tail-end of Frontal System) will be affecting the eastern section of Southern Luzon while the northeast monsoon will affect rest of Luzon, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.
Cagayan, Isabela, Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate, Catanduanes, and Samar Provinces will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the shear line / easterlies with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Mindanao, Palawan, and the rest of Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Aurora and the rest of Cagayan Valley will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.
The wind speed forecast for northern Luzon is moderate to strong moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the northeast to east direction while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.
