Amihan, easterlies affecting north Luzon areas —PAGASA

The Northeast Monsoon or Amihan will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Batanes, Ilocos Norte, Abra and Cagayan, PAGASA said Sunday.

In its daily weather bulletin, PAGASA said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, meanwhile, will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA advised affected residents to prepare for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Further, moderate to strong wind and moderate to rough coastal water conditions will be experienced over northern Luzon.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate waters, PAGASA added. —Ma. Angelica Garcia/LBG, GMA News
