Northeast Monsoon to dampen parts of Luzon, Visayas
The Northeast Monsoon or Amihan will bring rain over parts of Luzon and Visayas on Tuesday, PAGASA said.
In its 4 p.m. update, the state weather bureau said Aurora, the northern portion of Quezon including the Polillo Islands, the Camarines Provinces, and Catanduanes will experience cloudy skies with light rain. There will be no significant impact, it added.
The Northeast Monsoon will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains in Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon and areas in Visayas.
The eastern section of Visayas, however, is affected by the shear line and the trough of a low pressure area.
Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will be expected over Eastern Visayas, Surigao Provinces, Dinagat Islands, and Davao Oriental brought about by the shear line and trough of the LPA.
The rest of Mindanao will also experience cloudy skies and isolated rains caused by localized thunderstorms. — Consuelo Marquez/BM, GMA News
