Shear Line to bring cloudy skies, scattered rain over Bicol, Caraga, northern Mindanao, parts of Visayas
The shear line will continue to affect the northeastern portion of Mindanao on Friday while the northeast monsoon will be affecting Luzon, according to the early morning forecast posted by PAGASA.
Bicol Region, Caraga, northern Mindanao, eastern and central Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the shear line with possible flooding or landslides during moderate to heavy with at times intense rains.
Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao, Mt. Province, Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.
Metro Manila, Western Visayas, and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains also due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.
The rest of the Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorm with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for Luzon, Visayas, and the eastern section of Mindanao is moderate to strong and moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The rest of Mindanao will experience light to moderate wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be slight to moderate
