Parts of Philippines to have rains from Shear Line, Amihan
Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail over CALABARZON, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Marinduque, and Romblon due to the Shear Line, PAGASA said Sunday.
In its daily weather forecast, the weather agency advised affected residents to prepare for possible flooding or landslides during moderate to heavy rains.
PAGASA said the Northeast Monsoon will bring cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao, Mt. Province, and Aurora.
Metro Manila, Ilocos Region and the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region and Central Luzon will also have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan.
Meanwhile, partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will be experienced over the rest of the country due to localized thunderstorms.
Flash floods or landslides are also possible during severe thunderstorms, PAGASA added.
Further, moderate to strong wind and moderate to rough coastal water conditions will prevail over Luzon, Visayas, and the eastern section of Mindanao, while light to moderate winds and slight to moderate eaters will be experienced over the rest of Mindanao. —Ma. Angelica Garcia/LBG, GMA News
