Shear Line, Northeast Monsoon to bring scattered rains over Caraga, 6 other areas
The Shear Line and the Northeast Monsoon will bring scattered rains over Caraga and six other areas on Monday, PAGASA said in its early morning forecast.
Aside from Caraga, the Davao Region, Northern Mindanao, Central Visayas, Eastern Samar, Leyte, and Southern Leyte will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the Shear Line and the monsoon.
Flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to heavy rainfall.
The rest of Mindanao meanwhile will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Shear Line, with the possibility of flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
The Bicol Region, Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the monsoon.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon and of Visayas meanwhile will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the monsoon.
Coastal waters throughout the country will be moderate to rough, with waves possibly reaching up to 4 meters tall.
