Shear line to bring rains over Bicol, Calabarzon, Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro

The shear line will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over the Bicol Region, Calabarzon, Marinduque, and Oriental Mindoro, state weather bureau PAGASA said Thursday.

In its 24-hour weather forecast, PAGASA also said cloudy skies with rains are expected over Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora brought about by the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to Amihan.

Meanwhile, the Visayas and Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers because of localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA said the wind speed forecast for Northern Luzon is moderate to strong moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Further, the rest of the country will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough. —Consuelo Marquez/VBL, GMA News
