LPA to bring cloudy skies, rains over Bicol, Quezon, Palawan, Northern Samar
A low pressure area will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over the Bicol Region, Quezon, Palawan, and Northern Samar, PAGASA said Wednesday.
In its 24-hour forecast, PAGASA said the LPA was located 255 kilometers west of Zamboanga City at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
PAGASA advised affected residents to prepare for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to, at times, heavy rains.
Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with rains due to the shear line.
Flash floods or landslides are also possible due to moderate to, at times, heavy rains, PAGASA added.
The shear line will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
Mindanao and the rest of the Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
Further, moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal water conditions will prevail over Northern Luzon and the eastern section of Central and Southern Luzon, while light to moderate winds and slight to moderate waters will be experienced over Visayas, Mindanao, and the rest of Luzon. — Ma.
